This ratchet tie-down strap has the same high strength as our standard 1″ straps, but with an integrated soft loop. No need to remember separate soft loops to protect your motorcycle’s finish.

Mac’s 1″ tie-down straps are well known for their strength and dependability, and there’s a good reason why. It starts with our premium nylon strapping, rated to 2,800 lbs. Minimum Break Strength (MBS), which significantly improves chafing and UV resistance over box store straps. Then, during construction of each strap, we sew all ends using the highest stitch count in the industry. You can see this in our characteristic “double box” stitch pattern that ensures maximum tear resistance.

The S-Hook with Keeper option consists of the same heavy-duty 3/8″ diameter steel wire, but with the addition of a spring loaded trap for keeping the hook connected. This option gives you the ability to attach to metal rails, while still having the option of a captive hook when attaching to standard tie-down hard points. Mac’s S-Hook with Keeper is fully encased in a thick, ruggedized vinyl coating, for added protection.

Choose the 1″ end fitting that works best for your setup, and decide if you need a ratchet strap with a direct hook end for better accessibility, or a sewn fixed end for more length.

Easy-Release Ratchet Mechanism: Recent design changes to our ratchet handles make them better than ever! The strap mandrel is now free-wheeling, eliminating any “stickiness” common when adjusting most other ratchets. The one-piece handle and addition of mandrel caps makes this handle 40% more rigid and keeps debris out of the moving parts.
